MYKITA
Mykita was founded in Berlin in 2003, housed in a former kindergarten called Kita. The brand, which took its name from the kindergarten, was also inspired by values of freedom of imagination, creativity and curiosity.
With a clear aesthetic vision, Mikita embraced independence by establishing an IN HOUSE production facility when no one else could produce their original and unique designs. As a result, the brand developed tools and processes that combine craftsmanship with innovative technology. In 2014, Mikita moved to a historic building in Kreuzberg, led by founder Moritz Kruger and his team. Their commitment to innovation, experimentation and creativity is evident in the brand’s simple, functional and award-winning designs.
