Gaste's sunglasses are made from cellulose acetate produced by Italy's leading company, Mazzucchelli, with the manufacturing process involving more than 50 stages, all overseen by expert craftsmen, from cutting the acetate sheets to the final polishing. Some of the collection is crafted from M49 bioplastic, a new eco-friendly thermoplastic material tested and declared fully biodegradable and recyclable.
